Lina Ratansi – No Integrity, No Glory! (#3)

Lina Ratansi is the Group Chief Executive of RSM Eastern Africa, which is a member of RSM, a global audit, accounting, and advisory firm presently ranked no 6 worldwide. Lina set up the Tanzania practice 14 years ago and runs it now. She has over 25 years of experience in audit and assurance services, having handled clients in several different sectors. Over the last 5 years, she has acquired extensive experience, knowledge, and training in direct and indirect taxation in Tanzania. She is currently a member of the NBAA and ICPAK, as well as an EO member and a Rotarian. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Management from the Institute of Finance Management, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Today, Lina joins me to share her story. She goes into the Why behind her work and talks about the importance of integrity in her organization. She defines integrity and explains why she views it as a core value and not just a nice fringe benefit. She shares the key requirements she looks for in a potential candidate and notes the importance of their background. We talk about coworker relationships and the Triple-F of Leadership.
