With Fathers’ Day coming up, today’s episode of Engage Relate Perform is a Fathers’ Day special, in which I interview my son–Aliraza Versi–about what fatherhood means to him. This is an important question for this podcast because, after all, fatherhood is a type of leadership on so many levels.
Today, Aliraza and I talk about what it means to be a father. Aliraza shares, at my prompting, what he would have done differently as a father if he had been in my shoes. We discuss the importance of commitment and of monitoring your child’s behavior. We also look back on and evaluate our father-son relationship, and Aliraza stresses that there is always growth to be done.
“Commitment is the most important thing in life.”
